July 19/20 Double points!!

Hey Gang, This is a Oregon Supermoto "stand alone date" Round 5 , July19/20 at PARC. Don't miss it. This is a double points round. If you missed a couple races this will boost you standings!! If you don't know where you stand, go to oregonsupermoto.com in the results section.
Also if you missed the last race at Pats, you might not know the dirt section has been expanded and has a few more twists and turns.
Practice shared with karts Sat. Race Sunday.
Here are the classes to be run race day:

1. SM unlimited Asphalt
2.OSM minis dirt*
3.OSM Intermediate dirt*
4.Pee wee dirt
5.SM premier Asphalt
6.Quad Asphalt
7.OSM expert dirt*
8.OSM amateur dirt*
9.Quad dirt
10.Sm stock asphalt
11. Pee wee asphalt

Classes with Asterisks count for Oregonsupermoto points. The asphalt classes normally count for NWmini points but since this is a stand alone date they will not count this round.
We do hope this doesn't discourage mini riders from attending, and hope this offers enough ride time for those minis who would like to partake in the fun.

Details:
Pats has a one time yearly fee of $12 for your membership license.
Everyone pays that their first time out.

Well here we go already, May is a busy month......good, its been a wet winter and we're ready to ride.

No surprises here. Same class structures as Round 1.

Remember: Gary Trachy's Supermoto Clinic is coming up May 15-16. $425 gets you 2 days of instruction by the premire SM instructor in the USA, lunch, track rental fees, and the rank of a Silent "H" Graduate.

Oregon Supermoto / NWminis / and Pat's Acres are joining together for a local Oregon Series for 2008 !!!

As some of you know , last years Supermoto racing fell flat here in Northern Oregon.

Hoping not to have a repeat of last year, some of us Oregon guys have
come together to figure out a way to make a series happen. All of us
having families and/or demanding job responsibilities, cant make this
happen on our own. Lucky for us Kimberlie, Mike, (NWminis) and Chris
(Pats Acres) are willing to help.

NWminis has agreed to let us race with them on any of their
existing dates. Pats Acres is hosting three of those events.

This short six race series is designed to help grow and unite the
small supermoto contingency here in Oregon. These are not "stateline"
type events. They will have more of a homegrown/local feel with
volunteers helping at all levels.

The OSM class structure (Not fully determined ) will be more of a
basic structure, based more so on level of riding rather than
displacement . More than likely OSM will have only four classes that
count for points. Oregon Supermoto points will be tabulated and posted
on OSM's website by webmaster Kevin McDowell. NWminis will provide
us with additional classes to ride that will count for the NWmini
point race.

Fee structure can be found on NWminis.net . The basics are , Pay
one fee....race all the classes you want. OSM and NWminis do not ask
for any membership fees. Come race and you will be counted in the
points race. The same similar structure will happen at Pat's except
you'll pay for your Pat's license . Details at Patsacres.com.
